Welcome to the Voodoo Tactical Forum! We hope you will find it a place to ask questions, post news and comments, and to share information with the tactical community.
We just launched the forum on November 1, 2009, so you can become a founding member by registering today. Then hang out, lurk, or try your hand at a post or two.
Just a few basic rules of the road to keep in mind:
- Keep it clean. No profanity, please.
- Keep it polite. Well-mannered disagreements and discussions are welcome, rudeness and name calling is not. Please be respectful of your fellow board members. You are welcome to privately think someone is the biggest idiot to walk the earth since that dinosaur with the pea-sized brain in its hindquarters. You are NOT welcome to share that opinion with him or the rest of the board.
- Be mature. This site is not intended for persons under the age of 13, so there is no excuse for acting like a 7th grader. That means no pissing contests, no whining, and no complaining.
- Keep commercial posts to a minimum. Spam is not permitted. Messages that blatantly promote a non-related product or website will be deleted. Mentioning your web site in your signature is fine. If you mention a product with which you have a professional or financial interest, you must state that. Please do not link to your listings on eBay, Gunbroker or similar web sites.
- Don't abuse the privilege. We won't hesitate to remove or block users who abuse the system, and we can do that by IP address as well as by email. We're running this board in a pretty open manner, but if we get too much abuse, we'll cut out things like private messages, html formatting, polls, and so forth. So if you are not a member of Robert Heinlein's Polite Society, try to fake it while you are here.
- Report violations. We're pretty busy making tactical gear, packing and shipping orders, and providing customer service, so we may not read every post. If you come across someone breaking one of the above rules, flag it and report it to me or to a moderator.
It's our forum, but its your time. Make the most of it.
